A View from the Clubhouse

With the amount of new clubs that are springing up these days and with membership vacancies appearing at clubs for the first time since their inception, it is important that Wrotham Heath stays ahead of the game to ensure the continued financial security of the club.

With this in mind a number of changes have been made to help sustain the membership numbers.

• Now the initial joining fee can be paid over a three year period instead of immediately upon joining.
• To encourage husbands and wives to join, only one joining fee per married couple will be required. This will be extended to the husbands or wives of existing members who wish to join.

The introduction of Members Guest days which took place last year, proved very popular. Each member is entitled to one guest day per year when a member can bring up to twenty guests at the normal guest rate; times will be restricted to make the best use of the course in the quieter times.

The club has recently received its new bar license; under the terms of the new licensing laws we can now hold members functions, with up to a maximum of twelve functions being allowed at the club per year.
