Dress Code

Wrotham Heath Golf Club wishes to make everyone welcome.

We are proud of our course, clubhouse and standards. Our dress code is an important part of our standards and members, guests and visitors are required to abide by it.

Mobile phones or Blackberries may only be used in the car park.

Failure to comply with the dress code will result in your not being allowed onto the Course to play, or a request to leave the course or the clubhouse.

ON THE COURSE

As a general rule, if the item is on sale in our professional shop it is acceptable.

Only tailored shorts are acceptable and they may be worn with knee-length socks, or with short socks that are predominantly white. Shirts must ALWAYS be tucked in.

Unacceptable clothing on the course

  • Jeans/Denim
  • Tracksuits
  • Combat wear
  • Beach wear
  • Trainers/Plimsolls
  • Rugby/Football/Numbered Shirts
  • Collarless shirts/T-shirts
  • Multi-pocketed trousers/shorts
  • Training/athletic shorts
  • Back-to-front headgear
  • Halter-neck & sun tops
  • Shorts, skirts & culottes more than 10cm above the knee

IN THE CLUBHOUSE

Members’ Lounge and Dining Room  :  Smart casual clothing is acceptable in general, except when a specific dress code has been agreed/requested in advance.  Clothing worn on the golf course, with the exception of golf shoes and waterproofs, may be worn if clean and dry.

Footwear must be worn at all times.
