The Golfing Machine is a book written by Mr Homer Kelley. The book was first published in 1969 after almost 30 years of research and hard work had gone into it. Unfortunately the book is often misunderstood and people end up avoiding it rather than embracing it. This is largely to do with the layout and the reading of the book. It does not read like a normal instruction book, but rather like a referance manual. The book does not give one definitive method but explains that there are different components that can be linked together to produce a repeatable golf stroke.The book (now in its 7th edition) is often referred to as "The players guide and the Coach's Bible"

It allows players to work with what they have rather than try to swing a specific way.
